The Bardot Story · 2009–2017

A cultural institution, not just a nightclub.

For eight years, Bardot wasn't merely Miami's hottest room — it was the cultural phenomenon that helped transform Wynwood from industrial wasteland into an international arts destination.

The Physical Space

Through an unmarked door off a gravel lot, guests discovered a two-story wonderland: crimson Venetian plaster, gilded baroque frames, vintage velvet couches, Moroccan lanterns and Persian rugs. A carpeted stage sat inches from the crowd — no barrier, no distance between artist and audience.

The Programming Philosophy

A fearless booking strategy — five nights a week spanning indie rock, electronic, hip-hop, jazz and experimental performance art. A strict no-photography policy meant people actually experienced the moment, creating the mystique that amplified Bardot's allure.

Legendary Performances

Where stars were born.

Nicolas Jaar

Hundred Waters

& many more
A rite of passage for any serious music lover in Miami

Miami New Times consistently ranked Bardot Best Nightclub and Best Live Music Venue. DJ Mag featured it in global venue guides; Pitchfork and Vice documented its stage. Its 2017 closure left a void in Miami's cultural landscape that has never been filled.

The Opportunity

The same soul. A bigger stage.

Bardot returns to a 5,000+ sq ft, two-floor space in the heart of downtown Miami — the city's business and entertainment core — capturing both the after-work professional crowd and the late-night faithful.

🍸

Daily Happy Hour

From 5pm, an elevated tapas & cocktail program captures the after-work professional crowd.

Post-investment ownership: 50% Founder / 50% Investor. The raise fully capitalizes the build-out and the first 12 months of operations — the investor is funding a turnkey launch, not a partial one.

Illustrative Payback*

*Illustrative only. At a projected $2.88M annual net profit, a 50% equity stake represents ~$1.44M/yr to the investor, implying a simple payback on the $5M investment of roughly 3–4 years, before any brand, real-estate or token upside. Forward-looking; not a guarantee of returns.

Revenue Projections — Year 1

Revenue StreamMonthlyAnnual
Bar Sales$800,000$9,600,000
Sponsorships / Partnerships / Special Events$200,000$2,400,000
Ticketing / Door Charges$66,667$800,000
Total Revenue$1,066,667$12,800,000

Revenue assumptions are benchmarked to the original Bardot's documented volume (100,000+ attendees/yr, $20–50 door) scaled to the larger downtown footprint and expanded day-parts. Final figures should be validated against current downtown-Miami venue comps during diligence; a conservative downside model is available on request.

Detailed Line-Item Opening Budget — Lean Hard-Cost Workbook

The granular bottoms-up estimate of direct opening costs totals $2,219,000 ($444/sq ft). The $5M raise is deliberately sized above this lean figure to fund premium finishes, deeper operating reserves, contingency and growth capital — de-risking the launch rather than just covering minimums.
